More about the Program's Success Rate

Previously, as the CPS Committee Chair and an employee of Dynegy at that time, I learned of Lynce Lucas's class and asked that she come to Dynegy to instruct us. Ninety-eight percent of us became certified at our first testing with Lynce, not only instructing us, but encouraging and motivating us. We owe her our sincere appreciation. I feel that the class instruction which clarified and emphasized certain areas of the required reading material along with the "Cram Jam" brought us through getting our certification. I know if I had not taken advantage of all that she offers, I would not have reached my goal of attaining my certification. Kudos to Lynce.

My study skills were very rusty.  I knew that I needed the structure of a class in order to motivate me.   Lynce's classes came highly recommended to me, and I was not disappointed.  Her teaching style and ability to relate the CPS and CAP material was excellent.  Because of Lynce's instruction, I feel strongly that I was able to successfully pass both the CPS and CAP on my first attempt.  Thanks, Lynce!

Leading Learning Living and Lynce's approach to prepare her students was incredible.  After 12 years of  being intimidated by the CPS exam, my goal was realized in 1995.  I was so confident in Lynce's ability to tap our experiences and focus on the areas needed to succeed on the exam.   When IAAP announced the CAP certification, I immediately teamed with Lynce to again make this awesome goal a reality.

My classmates and I quickly realized that the curriculum for the CPS exam was more comprehensive than we had anticipated. However, Lynce's skillful direction in reviewing the material enabled us to focus on the fundamentals, preventing us from feeling overwhelmed. Her encouraging support truly kept us motivated week-to-week until the target exam date arrived. The Cram Jam likewise helped me realize that I had indeed learned all the concepts Lynce had highlighted and was proficiently prepared to take the test.

I first met Lynce Lucas when I took an Administrative Professional Development course at the City of Houston. I was so impressed and encouraged by her that I took more modules to pass the CPS and then the CAP exams. Lynce motivates everyone in her class to do their best. She makes you realize that you have potential. I would not hesitate in taking another class with her.

I made a commitment to take the CPS Review Course. Lynce impressed upon us that we needed to think in terms of day-to-day applications as well as working within an international environment. While presenting the material in an interesting and even humorous format, she also stressed the importance of reading the course material on our own and encouraged class participation. One of the best features of Lynce's review was the "CRAM JAM". Had I not taken her course, I do not feel I would have passed the exam.
